Cleaning up our area

In the run-up to The Queen's 90th birthday on April 21st 2016, Keep Britain Tidy is aiming to inspire a million people to take action to make the places where we live more beautiful.

Cheltenham Borough Council is supporting the campaign, and the event will take place in Cheltenham between Saturday 19 and Monday 21 March.  It would be great if any groups in our area would be interested in supporting this clean up by organising a litter pick over or close to that weekend.

The council can offer litter picking equipment such as bags, litter pickers, hoops and gloves to any group that wants to take part. If you are interested contact Helen Down at Cheltenham Borough Council on 774960 / helen.down@cheltenham.gov.uk or contact any of your local Liberal Democrat councillors.
