Urgent Repairs needed to A435 at Charlton Hill

In spite of continuing representations by your Lib Dem Borough Councillors, the A435 at Charlton Hill continues to slowly slip into the valley and part of the carriageway has been coned off for over two years now. Further subsidence is affecting other sections of the hill.

Recycling news

We are delighted to announce that from Monday 16th October your recycling service will be changing for the better.

At the local elections last year, we promised that if we won we'd work to bring the recycling of mixed plastics and heavy cardboard to the kerbside. The new service will mean that those things as well as fabrics, batteries and old electrical items will also be collected . To allow for cardboard collection, a specially designed reusable weighted sack will be issued to households from early September.
