Urgent Repairs needed to A435 at Charlton Hill

We call upon Gloucestershire County Council to reinstate the carriageway of Charlton Hill.

Charlton Hill continues to slowly slip into the valley and part of the carriageway has been coned off for over two years now. Further subsidence is affecting other sections of the hill.

Planning permission has recently been granted for the Lilleybrook Golf Club to construct a new 9-hole course by importing 100,000 cubic metres of material. This means 12,000 heavily laden lorries using the A435 over a 3-year period (15 deliveries per day).

Please sign this petition to call for urgent repairs before this additional load is placed on an already fragile carriageway.
