Resurface Caernarvon Road

Your Lib Dem team are fighting to make our roads safer

Your local Lib Dem Councillors  in Warden Hill and Up Hatherley are pressing Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) to get Caernarvon Road urgently resurfaced.

Caernarvon Road serves as one of the most heavily used roads in our area, supporting a significant volume of traffic daily. It is a lifeline for the residents of Warden Hill and Up Hatherley. Unfortunately, despite its vital importance, GCC has allowed this road to fall into a state of shameful disrepair.

For far too long, Caernarvon Road has been subjected to temporary fixes and band-aid solutions. These superficial repairs are nothing more than sticking plasters, unable to address the underlying issues plaguing the road. As a result, the road surface continues to deteriorate rapidly, rendering the repairs futile, and wasting taxpayer money. This perpetual cycle of quick fixes has become a major nuisance, but more importantly, it poses a severe safety hazard for cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.

Resurface Caernarvon Road!

We the undersigned call upon Gloucestershire County Council to recognize the urgency of the situation and take immediate action to resurface Caernarvon Road. Resurfacing is the only viable and safe option.
