Thank you for believing in us

Cheltenham people in their thousands put their trust in the Liberal Democrats in May’s local elections. The Lib Dems won 17 out of 21 seats up for elections, taking our total up to 32 seats out of 40 – a gain of three seats

The Conservatives won just 3 seats, independents 1, and Labour came miles off winning any at all.

Our team of councillors are drawn from almost every part of Cheltenham , every kind of background, and all ages – and they’re determined to do their best for the town we all love. If you supported us on polling day, thank you.  If you didn’t, we hope we can win your trust in the future.

And now the election’s over, the real work is happening, as we strive to keep the promises we made. We will continue to bring more new investment and jobs to the town.

We’ll press ahead with our ambitious plans to invest in new housing, especially to help younger people and families. And we’ll continue with our plans to make Cheltenham an even more beautiful and pleasant place to live and work.
